According to the Daily Mail, Leicester City are set to sign Bohemians striker Ali Reghba after a successful trial spell with the Foxes.

Leicester fans may be he hoping for a major striking addition this month to support Jamie Vardy in attack, but they instead appear to be signing a youngster for the future.

Bohemians talent Reghba has become one of the top youngsters in Irish football, having scored twice on his senior debut against St Pat’s Athletic.

Reghba has become hot property, and turned out for Leicester’s Under-23’s last week, sparking rumours that a move to the King Power Stadium was close.

Now, the Daily Mail claim Reghba is set to join Leicester permanently after his trial spell, with the teams negotiating a compensation fee.

Should Leicester seal the deal, they will have seemingly beat competition from Leeds United and Middlesbrough to sign Reghba, with The Sun recently claiming that Leeds were watching him ‘extensively’ ahead of a bid.

Reghba will now hope to follow in the footsteps of Vardy and become a Leicester hero in attack, and will hope that his decision to join a Premier League club over a Championship side pays of.f
