According to Read Celtic, Albian Ajeti’s move to Celtic is now off because he may be on the move to West Bromwich Albion instead.
The Daily Record claimed on Wednesday night that Ajeti’s move from West Ham United was in doubt because he was stalling on a move.
West Brom were thought to be in the race too, leaving Celtic loan bid in danger of falling apart having laid the groundwork over the last week.
Now, this new report states that Ajeti won’t be joining Celtic, as he will instead be pursuing a move to West Brom.
The Baggies had allegedly asked Ajeti to delay a decision on joining Celtic, and now appear to have turned his head completely.
There is still a problem for West Brom though, as West Ham are reluctant to loan Ajeti to a Premier League rival, and would rather selling him.

Ajeti didn’t undergo a planned medical with Celtic on Wednesday, and it now seems that Neil Lennon will have to look elsewhere for a new striker.
The 23-year-old has not future at West Ham after playing just four minutes since football returned, but he could still have a Premier League career if West Brom do win the race.
