AC Milan are closing in on a deal to sign Adel Taarabt on a permanent basis, according to the latest press reports.
Adel Taarabt is proving to be something of a revelation at San Siro and AC Milan appear to be working on agreeing a permanent switch.
The Moroccan midfielder joined Milan from Queens Park Rangers on loan in January – a deal that raised many eyebrows.
It was widely suggested that the 24-year-old wasn’t good enough to set Serie A alight, but he has impressed so far during his stay in Lombardy.
Taarabt won plaudits for his excellent performance against Chievo last weekend as he helped Milan to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
Several Italian newspapers labelled Taarabt Man of the Match for his efforts in vanquishing the Flying Donkeys and Milan have been praised for finding a low-cost addition to the squad who is capable of making things happen.
However, the Rossoneri are said to be keen to negotiate that price down to closer to £3m and are reportedly working on an arrangement with the player’s adviser Kia Joorabchian.
