Arsenal talent Marcelo Flores is set to leave the club for a permanent move to Mexican side Tigres, with a deal now close.
Teenager Marcelo Flores is poised to bring an end to his time as an Arsenal player with a permanent exit now imminent.
That is according to Arsenal reporter Charles Watts, who has taken to Twitter to discuss Flores and his future.
Watts claims that Flores is now close to leaving Arsenal on a permanent basis in order to join Tigres in Mexico.
The 19-year-old wants to try his luck away from Arsenal is now thought to be ‘finalising a move’ with Tigres.

Who is Arsenal talent Marcelo Flores?
Flores was born in Canada and ended up joining the Ipswich Town youth ranks through a connection of his father’s.
Arsenal spotted Flores and lured him to North London in 2019 amid real excitement about his potential.
A diminutive attacking midfielder or winger, Flores was named in The Guardian’s Next Generation 2020 list, profiling the top 60 talents around the world.
That piece featured a mention that Flores compares his game to that of Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho.
Sadly, we haven’t quite seen Flores hit that kind of level at Arsenal but the potential is certainly there.
Flores spent last season out on loan at Spanish second division side Real Oviedo but Arsenal seemingly believe the time is right for him to move on.

Another Arsenal prospect to leave
It may have gone under the radar a little, but Arsenal did actually sell a young player late on Wednesday night.
Right back Ryan Alebiosu has been moved on to Belgian side KV Kortrijk on a permanent basis.
Loans with Crewe Alexandra and Kilmarnock haven’t taken Alebiosu any closer to first-team action and Arsenal have cashed in.
Just a matter of hours later, it looks like Flores will be following Alebiosu out of Arsenal with permanent deals sorted out for both players.
