Liverpool are the latest club to register an interest in PSV Eindhoven talent Johan Bakayoko as they battle Everton for his signature.
Everton now face a battle with rivals Liverpool for the signing of PSV Eindhoven talent Johan Bakayoko.
That is according to Dutch reporter Rik Elfrink, who claims that Liverpool have now enquired into a deal for Bakayoko.
It’s claimed that Liverpool have been asking for the financial terms PSV want in order to let Bakayoko leave this summer.
Burnley are out of the race for Bakayoko now but it’s claimed that the PSV star is ‘highly sought after’ ahead of the deadline.
This comes just days after Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri reported that Everton are interested in signing Bakayoko.
The Toffees are desperate for any kind of attacking spark and have been chasing Leeds United talent Wilfried Gnonto.
Bakayoko may be an alternative option but Everton may be faced with a far-from-ideal battle with Liverpool now.

Who is Liverpool and Everton target Johan Bakayoko?
Bakayoko hails from Belgium and spent time in the youth ranks of many Belgian clubs.
Bakayoko passed through OH Leuven, Club Brugge, Mechelen and Anderlecht before heading to the Netherlands in 2019.
PSV Eindhoven pounced and Bakayoko has been coming up in their youth ranks ever since.

The 20-year-old racked up 20 goals in 55 games for the Jong PSV side, showing immense potential as a winger who can even play up top if needed.
Bakayoko really emerged into the first team last season, kicking on after Cody Gakpo’s January move to Liverpool.
The youngster ended last season with seven goals and five assists to his name, shining predominantly down the right flank.
Bakayoko is a hugely exciting talent and Liverpool could now ruin Everton’s plans by bringing him to Anfield.
