Everton boss Marco Silva will undoubtedly be looking to strengthen his squad this summer, in an effort to build a squad capable of making a sustained push for the top seven next season.

One particular area of the Toffees squad in need of improvement is their centre-forward department, with more competition and cover required for the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun.

And with this in mind, now seems to be the ideal time for Everton to revisit their interest in Ajax front-man Kasper Dolberg.

The Ajax hitman racked up 11 goals and five assists in 25 Eredivisie appearances this season, with many of those outings coming from the substitutes bench.

At the age of 21, Dolberg seems to be the perfect signing for Everton, and he would surely flourish when surrounded by the likes of Richarlison, Theo Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Express reported two years ago that the Toffees wanted to sign the 13-capped Denmark international, and the Merseyside outfit should now renew their reported interest in the forward.

According to Goal, Dolberg could be available for just €35 million (£31 million) this summer, and that will surely appeal to Marco Silva, who needs to strengthen many positions this summer.

And should the Portuguese bring the Ajax youngster to Goodison Park this summer, if could turn out to be an excellent addition for Everton.
