Premier League trio Everton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are reportedly competing to bring Edin Dzeko back to England from Serie A outfit Roma.

One of the most experienced and prolific strikers in Europe could be available this summer for £13 million. That is according to Calciomercato anyway.

And no wonder Everton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are interested.

It is reported that Roma have decided against offering Edin Dzeko a new contract with the Serb’s current deal due to expire in 2020. Considering that he will turn 33 this month, it seems that Roma have accepted that this is their last chance to earn a decent fee for a player who earns over £4 million a season.

And with Dzeko accepting that his time in Italy is coming to an end, Calciomercato reports that he has his heart set on a return to England. Everton, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all interested.

The Toffees have been crying out for a centre-forward like Dzeko since Romelu Lukaku left two years ago, West Ham look set to lose Marko Arnautovic in the summer while Michy Batshuayi is a Crystal Palace player on a temporary basis only.

Dzeko, meanwhile, has averaged a goal every other game in three-and-a-half years at Roma including 24 in all competitions last season. Even entering his autumn years, he has plenty left to offer.

And in an era where even Championship players are moving for £20 million plus, signing a striker like Dzeko for £13 million looks like a no-brainer.
