Gordon is out of contract at Celtic this summer and is set to become a free agent.
According to BBC Sport, Heart of Midlothian are interested in signing the Scotland international goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that St Mirren have previously spoken to the former Sunderland and Hearts goalkeeper.
Gordon has said that he is in talks with Celtic over a new deal, and has suggested that he could stay at Celtic Park for the 2020-21 campaign.
The Glasgow Evening Times quotes Gordon as saying: “They did speak about it a few weeks ago. The negotiations haven’t been particularly good, I’ve got to be honest.
“It has dragged out and I feel it could have been handled an awful lot better. I had a fantastic time there over the six years and I still want to be able to speak them and see what they have to offer and what they’re thinking about my role for next season if they want me to stay there.
“There’s still a little bit of chat still to be had there, but I’d have liked things to have been sorted out before now. But with that said, that now leaves the door open for everybody else to make an offer.”
Celtic stay?
Gordon is a very good goalkeeper, but he will be a back-up at Celtic next season.
While one can understand why the 37-year-old would want to play regularly, staying at the Hoops could see him be part of a history-making team, as Neil Lennon’s side chase their 10th successive Scottish Premiership title.
It must be a real dilemma for the Gordon, and perhaps things will become clearer in the coming days and weeks.

Meanwhile, Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that the club are set to open talks with midfielder Ryan Christie over an extension to his current contract.
Lennon told The Glasgow Evening Times: “That’s an avenue we will look to pursue. He was terrific for us last year and I’ve love to give him an extension.
“It’s all quiet right now in terms of talks because there’s been so much going on, but we’ll be picking that up again soon.”
