West Bromwich Albion should consider a move for the Crystal Palace winger.

According to a report from the Sun (print edition August 19th, page 60), Crystal Palace want to loan out Jason Puncheon to a Championship club before the deadline on August 31st, and the 32-year-old would be an ideal fit for West Brom.
The Baggies have begun their 2018/19 campaign in mixed fashion, but their 7-1 win over Queens Park Rangers yesterday will have given them a huge boost, ahead of what will be a hugely challenging season.
Darren Moore must not allow yesterday’s comprehensive victory to paper over the cracks, however.
West Brom are still in desperate need of more firepower in the wide attacking department, and Puncheon could be just the ticket for them.
At 32, the Palace winger is vastly experienced, and he possesses tremendous quality.

Despite his age, Puncheon possesses plenty of pace, and plays with a certain kind of directness that would undoubtedly help the Black Country outfit improve upon the potency of their attacking play.
Whilst Palace don’t want to sell Puncheon on a permanent basis, bringing him to the Hawthorns on loan until the end of the season would be excellent business from Darren Moore, and it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for West Brom.
