Real Madrid’s 25-year-old attacker Mariano Diaz is reportedly available and Everton should go all out to sign him this summer.

The 25-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu after Real Madrid announced the signings of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic in recent weeks. Mariano started just three games in La Liga for the Galacticos last season and the report states that the Gunners could snap him up for as little as £18 million this summer.
Arsenal are well-stocked at the top with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being undisputed first-choice starters in that position. Mariano will only be given an opportunity on the wings if he was to join the Gunners in the coming weeks which would truly be a waste of his abilities.
Mariano’s biggest strengths come as a centre forward when he is given the freedom to move around to occupy small pockets of space and the chances of that happening at Arsenal are very little. However, his attacking abilities could be used to full effect by the Gunners’ fellow Premier League rivals Everton who should make a move for him this summer.

The Toffees are in serious need of a new striker after Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hugely underwhelming performances last season. The Real Madrid forward would be a brilliant addition to the Marco Silva’s squad and at just £18 million, Everton could pull off one of the deals of the summer.
A free-flowing front three of Bernard, Mariano and Richarlison would be a nightmare for almost any defence that comes up against them and with Gylfi Sigurdsson’s incredible vision from the number 10 position, Marco Silva would have one of the most lethal attacking lineups in the Premier League next season.
