Just like most teams in the Premier League, West Ham United are another in search for a striker, with Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson a name being touted about.

Callum Wilson has done some serious damage to West Ham United in recent seasons, but that now could come to an end if he makes the switch from the South Coast to East London this summer.
The Mirror (27 June, page 65) claim that they are hoping that they can lure Wilson away from Bournemouth by offering the 27-year-old hitman a substantial pay rise.
If he does make the switch then it’ll end his recent goalscoring spree against the club. Wilson has netted on six occasions in six games against the Hammers, and has only lost to them once during that period [transfermarkt].
Manuel Pellegrini needs that extra firepower up front, with Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez heading for the exit doors, and Javier Hernandez seemingly wanting to follow suit, as he told Naked Human on YouTube, the club need to act in the transfer window.
A player like Wilson suits West Ham because he can be the focal point that they have been crying out for, he provides that physical presence which suits their game and he is proven in England’s top-flight.
The England international netted 14 goals during the previous campaign, and he added 10 assists to boot which proved the all-round capabilities he can bring to the table.

West Ham are sitting just outside of those European places, and in order for them to get that extra push, they need a player like Wilson in their side.
If he were to make the switch then he would provide double satisfaction for the club because it’ll stop him scoring against them and it’ll earn them those extra points they are craving for.
It would be quite ironic if he were to start a scoring spree against Bournemouth in these coming seasons if a move to West Ham were to materialise.
