West Ham forward Jordan Hugill is said to be a transfer target for Leeds.

Leeds United appear to be playing the waiting game over West Ham’s Jordan Hugill, with their interest in signing the striker on loan reported by The Sun.
Now West Ham are stepping up their own interest in Porto striker Moussa Marega, Hugill’s position at the club is looking increasingly untenable, a boost for Leeds.
The Mail report West Ham have opened talks over a move for Marega, who is valued at £22 million.
Hugill, 26, made just three appearances as a substitute after joining West Ham from Preston mid-season and Marega’s arrival will push him further down the pecking order.

Hugill would go from substitute to becoming at risk of not even making the matchday squad.
Leeds remain in need of a striker, and Hugill could link up with potential addition Matej Vydra who plays in the number 10 role.
It would have to be a loan deal to enable Leeds to get both, but at this stage of the transfer window West Ham will find it tough to attract bids for a striker whose value is rapidly depreciating.
A loan to the Championship, potentially Bielsa’s Leeds, could be in West Ham’s interest as it will put Hugill in the shop window, or even return him to the club a better player.
On a temporary switch, he is well worth Leeds taking a gamble on.
