Surely West Ham will be unable to sign Yerry Mina after his World Cup performances.

Earlier this summer West Ham were linked with a surprise move for Colombian defender Yerry Mina.
Spanish outlet Don Balon led the claims that Mina was keen on a move to West Ham on loan after being unconvinced he would get an opportunity at Barcelona.
If there was any chance of West Ham landing Mina, they should be on the phone to Barcelona right now, because his World Cup performances have been terrific.

After a difficult first game against Japan where Colombia had a player sent off after three minutes, Mina has been a powerhouse at both ends of the pitch.
He scored in back to back games against Poland and Senegal, and helped Colombia keep a clean sheet
A last 16 match against England is up next, giving Mina a chance to further enhance his reputation.

Unfortunately for West Ham, Mina’s fantastic displays so far also serve to make a move highly improbable.
Barcelona are unlikely to want to let him go, and Mina is keen on staying at the Nou Camp, with Sport quoting him stating: “I don’t want to leave.”
West Ham are within their rights to enquire, but Barcelona would be foolish to let Mina go, even for just one season.
