The Daily Mail reported last weekend that Arsenal are confident of signing Ryan Fraser in the summer transfer window.
Fraser is out of contract at Bournemouth at the end of next month and is available on a free transfer.
Arsenal are reportedly confident that they are favourites to secure the services of the Scotland international winger.
However, a new report in the Turkish media has suggested that the Gunners could still face some competition.
Takvim has claimed that Fraser has been offered to Galatasaray on a free transfer, and that the Turkish giants are considering him.
The report has added that Galatasaray will only make a final decision at the end of the season when they know their league table position.
Fatih Terim’s side are currently third in the Turkish Super Lig table, just three points off the top.
No Arsenal move?
Arsenal are unlikely to finish in the Champions League places, while Galatasaray could play in Europe’s premier club competition next season.
True, the Gunners are a global brand and are a massive club, but playing in the Champions League and competing for the league title in Turkey could be quite tempting for the 26-year-old Scotland international winger, described by former Crystal Palace forward and Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison as “exciting” on talkSPORT (12:30pm, May 20, 2020) (click here to read more).
