Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are reportedly interested in former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake.

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are interested in signing Nathan Ake from Bournemouth, according to The Telegraph, but Chelsea could make it tough for their Premier League rivals to secure the services of the 23-year-old defender.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have a gentleman’s agreement with Bournemouth that would allow them to re-sign Ake for £40 million.
The Netherlands international joined the Cherries from Chelsea in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £20m.
Ake – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is a very good defender and has progressed well at Bournemouth.
While one can understand why Spurs and United would like to sign the Dutchman, it seems that Chelsea could make it tough for them.

The report in The Telegraph, though, does add that Chelsea have not shown any signs that they want Ake back.
It has been reported that any move to re-sign the defender will have to be agreed by the player himself.
Maybe Chelsea do not hold all the cards after all.
