Tottenham were linked with a late swoop for Malcom.

Barcelona’s Malcom stepped up this week to score for the club in their draw with Real Madrid.
Playing as part of a rotated side, Malcom provided the ideal response to recent speculation over his future.
The Brazilian cost Barcelona £36.5 million to sign last summer from Bordeaux.
He has been picked to start just one La Liga game since joining.
A switch to Spurs would have meant more disruption, and he seems genuinely happy at Barcelona despite his lack of action.

Having just signed for the club less than a year ago, he is prepared to wait.
Speaking this week to Sport, Malcom said: “I’ve always been so calm, I’m just like how I got in. I have friends who trust me, I have my family, agents who are watching over me and also my colleagues.
“I was a little tired, I do not come on to play much, but I am more confident, I will work to improve and play a little more.”
The attacker has no regrets over not moving and his midweek goal justified it.
Tottenham likewise currently have no regrets either, winning their last three matches in a row, with Heung-Min Son returning to inspire the team at the perfect time.
