Ligue 1 champions PSG could sell Layvin Kurzawa with the left-back reportedly a target for Premier League outfit Spurs.
Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Layvin Kurzawa may have struggled for game time at PSG this season but it seems he still has a fan in Didier Deschamps.
The left-back has made just eight appearances in all competitions with Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel preferring to start Juan Bernat in his defence. Tellingly, Kurzawa did not play a single game in the Champions League despite the fact that Bernat is hardly the world’s best defender.
As a result, Calciomercato report that the former Monaco flyer could be allowed to leave this summer. Tottenham are apparently interested, as are Premier League rivals Manchester United and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
And Spurs fans should be pleased to learn that Kurzawa is still considered good enough for a place in the France squad.
The out-of-favour defender has received his first international call-up since 2017 with Deschamps revealing his squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers with Iceland and Moldova later this month.
Kurzawa has certainly been helped by an injury to the highly-rated Ferland Mendy, who was expected to be included ahead of his PSG counterpart.
