Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want Mariano Diaz of Real Madrid.

It has been reported that Spanish and European giants Real Madrid are keen on selling Diaz in the summer transfer window for a fee of £18 million.
Tottenham want to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker, but the Dominican Republic international does not want to move to the Premier League, according to the report.
Blow for Tottenham Hotspur?
Given Harry Kane’s first-choice status at Tottenham, it is going to be hard for the North London outfit to bring in a world-class striker this summer.

Diaz is not world class, but the 25-year-old can be a decent back-up to Kane and is a good option to have on the substitutes’ bench.
For the reported price of just £18 million, Diaz would be worth a punt for Madrid, but if he is not interested in joining a club in the Premier League, then Spurs should abandon their pursuit of him and look elsewhere for a striker.
