Reported Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Arkadiusz Milik wants to leave Napoli in January, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

Earlier this month, TMW reported that Tottenham and Everton are interested in signing Milik from Napoli in the January transfer window.

The report in the Italian news outlet claimed that Spurs and the Toffees wanted to secure the services of the Poland international striker in the summer transfer window and are ready to make a move again for him when the window opens in January.

Gianlucadimarzio.com has now reported that the 26-year-old striker and his agents have met Napoli, and that the former Ajax star has told the Italian club that he wants to leave in January should an offer that meets the Serie A outfit’s valuation arrive.

Encouraging for Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham signed Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica in the summer transfer window, and the striker is doing quite well at the moment.

The 25-year-old has provided two assists in two Europa League appearances for Spurs, according to WhoScored.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are banging in the goals for fun in the Premier League at the moment.

However, Milik is a very good and established striker who would make Spurs better, not just for the second half of this season but in the next two or three years as well.

According to WhoScored, Milik scored 11 goals in Serie A and three goals in the Champions League for Napoli last season, while in 2018-19, he scored 17 goals and gave three assists in the league.
