Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans was linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United this summer.

Youri Tielemans signed a permanent contract with Leicester City in the summer transfer window, but there was reportedly interest in the midfielder from Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal and United wanted to sign Tielemans from AS Monaco this summer.
Football.London claimed of interest from Tottenham in the 22-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester.
According to The Mirror, the Foxes paid Monaco £40m in transfer fee for the Belgium international, who has now said that it was the right move for him despite interest from other clubs.
Tielemans told The Mirror: ”During the transfer window, I was happy of the interest of certain big clubs.
“I needed to make a choice for my young career and I think it was the right one. To arrive off the back of a €45m transfer doesn’t change anything.
“They already knew me at Leicester. My loan spell went very good. I wanted to continue playing in this club.”

Rising star
Tielemans is a very talented and promising young midfielder who did well during his loan spell at Leicester last season.
According to WhoScored, the Belgium international midfielder made 13 appearances in the Premier League for the Foxes last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the process.
So far this season, the 22-year-old has made four appearances in the league for Leicester, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
