Nicolas Tagliafico could be on his way to the Premier League with Spurs and Arsenal interested in the Eredivisie left-back.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Nicolas Tagliafico has turned down a new contract at Ajax, the defenders agent has told Muy Independiente.
The Argentine international is in his first full season at Ajax and has established himself as one of Europe’s leading left-backs. In all competitions, the former Independiente ace has scored five goals and set up another five in all competitions, shining in the famous 4-1 Champions League victory away at Real Madrid.
As a result, The Sun (25 March, page 51) reports that North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are set to do battle for Tagliafico this summer with Ajax valuing the Argentine international at £15 million – bargain in today’s market.
And they could be in luck. Because it seems that, after 18 months in Amsterdam, Tagliafico appears ready for a new challenge.
“Ajax made an economic offer to match what the clubs claiming to Nicolas could afford, but it was not accepted because it is the just time to take a leap,” agent Ricardo Schlieper said. “Let’s see what happens in the market.

“Nico has an enormous virtue that is his professionalism, his entire discipline. This, sooner or later, takes you to the place you want.”
If he joins Arsenal, Tagliafico is likely to replace Nacho Monreal, whose contract expires in July. Tottenham, meanwhile, can call upon Danny Rose and Ben Davies but that has not stopped Mauricio Pochettino’s side from being linked with a whole host of new left-backs.
