Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are looking at Red Star Belgrade’s Babic, with Nice, Monaco and Feyenoord also interested.

Srdjan Babic has had to get used to life on the bench recently.
The Serbian U21 international has established himself as one of the most promising young players in Eastern Europe over the last few seasons with Red Star Belgrade, attracting the attention of Celtic amongst others.
According to CNN Turkey, Babic has admirers at the Scottish Premiership champions, though Nice, Monaco and Feyenoord are also looking at the 6ft 5ins centre-back. Besiktas, meanwhile, see him as a successor for Croatian World Cup finalist Domagoj Vida.
But Babic currently finds himself out of favour at Red Star. He has featured in just two of his club’s last nine league games and was left among the substitutes once again for the 3-0 thrashing of FK Rad before the international break.

Captain Vujadin Savic has often partnered Nemanja Milunovic in recent matches, leaving Babic out in the cold. The 22-year-old has a good record when given a chance, however, with Red Star winning their last two games 7-1 on aggregate with Babic in the starting XI.
In fact, Red Star haven’t lost a single game when Babic has featured in the league all season long.
