Glasgow Rangers are said to be interested in bringing the Manchester United youngster to Ibrox.
According to a recent report from ESPN, Rangers are keen on signing Matty Willock from Manchester United this summer, and the player has lofty aspirations, having already been on the books at both Old Trafford and Arsenal.
In an interview with Manchester United Magazine that was later published online by the Manchester Evening News, Willock once said, “When I was young, I always wanted to grow up and play for a big club. I didn’t think I was ever necessarily going to play for United so I am just happy to be here.
“If I keep working hard, hopefully I can just push myself forward.”

Having recently agreed a new contract at United, it seems Rangers’ interest would be in a loan deal, and given the 20-year-old’s lack of game time thus far, a temporary stint at Ibrox would be a wise move for all concerned.
Rangers fans may be quick to dismiss the move as unnecessary, with a raft of new faces already arriving at the club and more expected to follow.
But Willock is a goal-scoring midfielder with an eye for the spectacular, and he has already found the net at Old Trafford, the Etihad Stadium and Anfield, albeit with United’s second string.
Rangers need to recruit the right players to ensure they mount a serious title challenge to Celtic next season, and Willock would surely understand the magnitude of playing for a club such as the Gers.
He has already acknowledged the need to work hard and wait for his chances, and playing under Pedro Caixinha at Rangers next season could allow him the ideal opportunity to impress Jose Mourinho from afar.
With his entire carer ahead of him, the Rangers target will know he needs to start making the right decisions when it comes to first-team football, and if United are willing to loan him out, the Gers would be getting a player with the innate talent to succeed in Scottish football from the outset.
