Former Celtic midfielder Dylan McGeouch is a man in demand, with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers reportedly interested in bringing him to Ibrox, and Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers are also claimed to be interested.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers, Aberdeen, Blackburn Rovers, QPR and Sunderland all are interested in the 25-year-old former Celtic star.
The Scotland international midfielder is a free agent at the moment, with his contract at Hibernian running out at this end of this past season.
McGeouch, though, has stated that he is not in any rush to make a decision on his future, with The Scottish Sun also reporting that Hibernian manager Neil Lennon wants him at Easter Road next season.
The Scottish Sun quotes McGeouch, who is on international duty with Scotland, as saying about his future: “I have just put it all on hold.
“I knew I was coming away with the international squad so I just wanted to get that out of the way and hopefully get a few caps.
“I will go back home after these games, sit down with my representatives and take it from there. I am not in a rush to make any decision just now.”
Good signing for Rangers and Sunderland?
McGeouch is a very good midfielder who played well for Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership this past season.
The 25-year-old would be a good signing for Rangers, although his previous link with Celtic may be a concern among some fans.
Sunderland will be aiming to win promotion to the Championship next season, and McGeouch would be a good signing for the League One club in the summer transfer window.
