West Ham United reportedly want to sign the Venezuelan.

West Ham want to sign West Brom-owned striker Salomon Rondon, according to the Northern Echo, and he could turn out to be an excellent addition for the east London outfit.
The 29-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with Newcastle United, and he has impressed at St James’ Park, racking up 10 goals and five assists in 26 appearances in all competitions.
Rondon, a 72-capped Venezuela international, is one of the best in the business when playing with his back to goal, and he would provide West Ham with an excellent focal point for which to build their attacks through.
He is also vastly experienced, having scored 152 goals in 451 career appearances for both club and country, yet he still has plenty left to offer at the very highest level.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will definitely be looking to bolster his attacking ranks in the summer, with Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll all facing uncertain futures at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have sometimes lacked a target man type striker this season – something that has caused them problems when they have been under the cosh against the so-called big clubs.

And Rondon could be just the man for the job.
Whether the Venezuelan would be interested in joining West Ham ahead of Newcastle, however, remains to be seen.
