The Bayer Leverkusen ace has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

Reported long-term Liverpool target Leon Bailey sat down for an exclusive interview with German magazine Kicker, and responded when asked whether he will be leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
The Daily Star claimed earlier this summer that the Reds were one of a whole host of clubs interested in signing the £60 million-rated Jamaican winger, but as yet, no formal approaches have been made for his signature.
Until now that is.
Bailey, 20, claimed that there is definite interest from numerous clubs when asked about links with Liverpool, Chelsea and Roma, during an exclusive interview with German publication Kicker:
“There’s concrete interest. What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player, and that’s what I’ll focus on. If a club wants me, my management and Bayer 04 will take care of it.”

The Leverkusen speedster is a real talent, and has already chalked up 27 goals and 28 assists in 121 combined career appearances for both the Bundesliga outfit and Belgian side KRC Genk.
Bailey is a left winger by trade, but he can play anywhere along the front-line, and his blistering pace, combined with a direct style of play would bring so much to Liverpool’s setup, but judging by his recent comments, a move to Anfield this season might just be out of the question.
