Celtic have a chance of bringing Filip Benkovic back with the way Leicester are managing their centre-back situation.

Filip Benkovic was a big hit at Celtic last season on loan. The club face a fight to bring him back next season with Brendan Rodgers now his manager at Leicester.

What seemed like a tall order now could be a bit easier due to a report the Foxes are reshuffling their centre-backs.

Teamtalk report Leicester have agreed a £30 million move to sign Lewis Dunk from Brighton.

It is claimed he will replace Harry Maguire, who Leicester want to receive £85 million for.

However this outrageous fee is likely to put off suitors Manchester United and Manchester City.

There are more reasonably priced options on the transfer market, namely Toby Alderweireld at £25 million.

England's defender Harry Maguire runs with the ball during the friendly international football match between England and Germany at Wembley Stadium in London on November 10, 2017.

It makes sense for Leicester to sign Dunk early, and it would benefit Brighton to sell so they can move ahead with their own plans.

If Leicester find themselves in a scenario where they start the season with both Dunk and Maguire on their books, Celtic are the big winner as it will allow them another chance to land Benkovic.
