Reported Leicester City and Newcastle target Stefano Sturaro’s agent spoke exclusively to SoccerNews24, and provided an update on his client’s future, insisting that Juventus have no intention of selling the Italy international this summer.

The Foxes submitted an £11 million offer for the 25-year-old yesterday, according to Sky Sports Italia, whilst the Magpies have held a long standing interest in him, according to the Chronicle.

The report from Sky Sports Italia claims that the Serie A giants want closer to £18 million for Sturaro, however.

The Juve star’s agent insisted that the Old Lady have no intention of selling the midfield ace this summer unless they receive a big offer for his services, when speaking exclusively to SoccerNews24:

“Juventus have let me know that they have no intention of selling Stefano. A high figure is needed to sign him.”

Both Newcastle and Leicester are looking to strengthen their midfield options this summer, and Sturaro would be an exceptional signing for either club, what with his impeccable technique, wide range of passing and tenacious style of play.

If the Italian is available for £18 million, as has been reported, he could turn out to be a real coup for whichever club wins the race for his signature this summer.
