Leeds United were last night reported to be on the verge of signing Dutch defender Ousama Bouy.
Yet all may not be quite as it seems.
Leonesa are 99 per cent owned by Leeds director Ivan Bravo’s Aspire Academy, and the two clubs have been inter-linked with various deals in the past week with Toni Villa and Rodrigo Rios two of the players mentioned by the Spanish press.
Newspaper Marca also report that Bouy is expected to sign with Leonesa, who are in the Spanish second division.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that instead of signing a new deal with Juventus and being loaned out, Bouy, currently a free agent, will sign with Leeds and move to Leonesa on loan from the Whites.
Bouy, 24, plays at centre-back which is a position of need for Leeds United.

Bouy spent the last two seasons on loan with Dutch club PEC Zwolle.
He might yet end up at Leeds United but the deal does not seem quite so straightforward, and the defender could well be playing in Spain instead of Yorkshire next season.
