Reported Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion target Ryan Fraser is looking for more than £100,000 per week as salary at his new club, according to The Times.

It has been reported that the winger had talks with Newcastle United yesterday over a potential move to the Magpies on a free transfer this summer.

Crystal Palace are also interested in the Scotland international winger and have offered him £60,000 per week, according to the report.

90min has claimed that Leeds and West Brom – both of whom have won automatic promotion to the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign – have held talks with the 26-year-old.

Too expensive for Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion?

True, Fraser is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Bournemouth earlier this summer, but £100,000 per week does sound a lot for Leeds and West Brom.

The Scotland international winger did not have the best of seasons in 2019-20, as he scored one goal and provided four assists in 28 Premier League games, according to WhoScored.

Moreover, Leeds have just signed Rodrigo, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, while West Brom have secured the services of Grady Diangana on a permanent contract from West Ham United.
