The midfielder has been linked with a summer switch to Leeds United.

According to Kleineze Itung, alleged Leeds United target James Jeggo is yet to be offered a new contract at Sturm Graz despite holding talks with the club’s sporting director. The report also states that six of the player’s teammates have been offered extensions, leaving the 25-year-old’s future in some doubt.
A recent report from the Daily Mail claimed Leeds are among the clubs tracking Jeggo, with the player allegedly snubbing a new deal at his current club.

However that is not the suggestion from Austria, and it will be interesting to see if a new contract is ultimately put on the table or if the Australian moves on for free next summer.
Jeggo is a central midfielder – an area of the field where Leeds are not exactly short right now – and he has previously turned out for Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory.
More recently he has racked up 52 appearances for Sturm Graz and at 25 he could feel the time is right for a new challenge in a country where plenty of Australians have impressed in the past.

If the latest report is true and the Leeds target has not snubbed a new deal but is instead yet to receive one, it makes things a little less clear.
That said, with the player able to open talks in January, Leeds fans may be getting quietly excited about the prospect of another new faces arriving at Elland Road.
