Lazio could look to sell reported Leeds United and Brighton target Jordan Lukaku after he was dropped from Simone Inzaghi’s squad this weekend, according to Cittaceleste.

While Stuart Dallas continues to confound the doubters at Elland Road, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are still in the market for a more orthodox left-back capable of competing with an all-action Irishman who has almost redefined the word ‘versatile’.

Lukaku, the younger brother of Romelu, is keen on the idea of securing a move to the Premier League before the window slams shut next week, and it just so happens that he has a few offers on the table (Mail).

Leeds and Brighton both made £4.5 million offers a fortnight ago (LazioNews).

Lukaku was nowhere to be seen as Lazio beat Cagliari 2-0 in Sardinia on Saturday and, according to Cittaceleste, the Rome-based giants could now be willing to listen to offers.

His omission, the report adds, was due to disciplinary issues rather than any fitness concerns.

An attack-minded left-back with eight caps for the Belgian national team, the 26-year-old’s swashbuckling style would make him the perfect fit for a Leeds side who have taken the Premier League by storm since promotion.

Brighton, meanwhile, have one of the most exciting right-backs in the division in Tariq Lamptey.

Lukaku, on the other flank, would give Graham Potter’s criminally underrated side a bit more balance going forward, even if Solly March has impressed at wing-back of late.
