Leeds United target Danny Loader has confirmed on Twitter that he is leaving Reading as he feels it is time for a new challenge.

The Daily Mail claim that Leeds want to sign Loader, as he has now become a free agent.

Reading had offered the striker a new contract to stay with them, but he turned it down, in search of a new club.

Leeds are said to be taking a keen interest, and his latest message confirms that he is now looking for a new club.

If Leeds were to sign Loader it seems likely that he would initially join their under-23 squad.

The teenaged forward has hit 19 goals for Reading’s development side this term and was considered to be one of their brightest prospects.

Loader has also been capped by England at youth level, so he could turn out to be a bargain, on a free transfer.

If Leeds are to sign Loader they will have to beat off plenty of competition for his signature, as the Mail claim that Crystal Palace are also interested in him.
