Rangers are current favourites to re-sign Oli McBurnie.

Oli McBurnie has spoken about his future – and it seems ominous for reported suitors Rangers.
Wales Online reported in May that Leeds were interested in the Swansea City striker who, according to The Sun [01/07/2018, page 59], was the subject of a £4.5 million bid by Rangers earlier this summer.
McBurnie, who managed nine goals in 16 Championship starts for Barnsley during a half-season loan at Oakwell last term, is an in-demand striker, but is he set to stay in South Wales?

The 22-year-old marksman has told Swansea’s website that he is “looking forward” to working with new City manager Graham Potter in a revelation which could spell the end of Leeds and Rangers’ reported hopes of bringing him to Elland Road or Ibrox respectively.

He said: “I have had a chat with the new manager this week – we had a long chat about football.
“He is a really intelligent guy who seems to love his football. We got on really well. We spoke about his plans for me this season and for the team this season and I am looking forward to it.”
McBurnie, a Leeds-born fan of the Ibrox club, would be a serious coup for either side, but it looks like he might be at the Liberty Stadium.
The Whites need a replacement for Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who returned to parent club Hamburg this summer, while Steven Gerrard needs competition for Alfredo Morelos and has more recently been linked with a loan move for Roma-owned Umar Sadiq.
