Championship trio Leeds United, Derby County and Swansea City reportedly want to sign Oakley-Boothe from Premier League giants Spurs.

There are a few notable omissions from Tottenham Hotspur’s squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.
Leaving players at home for a summer sojourn is usually a sign that they are unlikely to stick around for much longer and, as Spurs’ official website points out, forgotten duo Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou have been denied a seat on the plane as they will instead spent the next few weeks trying to seal a move away from North London.
So too will long-serving England international Danny Rose.
But, despite the presence of so many talented youngsters, from Brooklynn Lyons-Foster to George Marsh, the fact that Tashan Oakley-Boothe is also nowhere to be seen suggests that his future also lies elsewhere.
The Mail claimed recently that a number of Championship clubs, including Leeds United, Derby County and Swansea City, were hoping to sign a midfielder who helped England’s U17s win the World Cup two years ago.

While his former Young Lions team-mates Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and Callum Hudson-Odoi have gone from strength to strength since 2017, Oakley-Boothe has made just one first-team appearance for Tottenham and a departure is looking increasingly likely with just 12 months left on his contract.
Derby need to plug a few gaps in central midfield after bidding farewell to Craig Bryson and Bradley Johnson while Leeds could be the perfect destination for a player who will certainly learn a thing or two from Marcelo Bielsa. Swansea’s new manager, meanwhile, is England’s former U17 coach Steve Cooper.
Tottenham’s official website doesn’t mention why Oakley-Boothe won’t be travelling to Asia. Though they do say silence is often deafening.
