Everton are reportedly interested in signing Nicolas Pepe, and his form for September has been recognised.

Everton fans continue to be given reason to be optimistic about the Toffees’ reported interest in Nicolas Pepe, with the Lille forward being named Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September.
And it has now been announced that the 23-year-old has been named as the division’s Player of the Month for September, with four goals coming in five appearances, including a hat-trick in the 3-2 win over Amiens and a strike in the emphatic 3-0 victory against Marseille.
With a goal and assist coming in his one appearance in October, Pepe’s record now stands at six goals and four assists in just nine games for Paris Saint-Germain’s nearest challengers.

It is a remarkable return from the forward, especially as he has played on the right rather than as a central striker this season. In contrast, no Everton player has had a direct hand in more Premier League goals this term than Gylfi Sigurdsson, with four goals and one assist coming so far for the Iceland talisman.
And if his form continues over the coming months, then it would be no surprise to see Everton following up their interest with a bid once the January window opens.
