Marcos Senesi admitted that he has been learning English over at Feyenoord as speculation continues over a potential move to Everton or Leeds United, while speaking to FR Fans.
While Carlo Ancelotti, Farhad Moshiri and Marcel Brands have succeeded in revolutionising a plodding midfield, announcing the triple signing of Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure, the Toffees still have work to do.
Try as they might, the Merseyside giants are yet to bring in the solid centre-back they have been tracking all summer, although a deal for Chelsea youngster Fikayo Tomori appears to be on the right track.
Newly-promoted Leeds, meanwhile, are still in the market for defensive reinforcements.
Senesi has joined Ben Cabango, Lyanco and Josko Gvardiol on Victor Orta’s hit list, according to TYC in August.
If Senesi does follow Hakim Ziyech and Donny Van de Beek from the Eredivisie to England, he should have little trouble conversing with his new teammates – whoever they may be.

“The first season at Feyenoord, I learned a lot as a football player,” says Senesi, who helped Dick Advocaat’s side secure a third-place finish.
“Beyond that, I also started learning English.”
The Mirror (5 July, page 74) reports that Feyenoord are hoping to make a substantial profit on a 6ft 1ins Argentine who became their record signing when he arrived at De Kuip form San Lorenzo last summer.
Everton or Leeds would have to pay £18 million bring Senesi to England.
The South American does add, however, that he feels ‘at home’ in Rotterdam. This is not a man who appears to be pushing for a move.
