Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Rafinha.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are still waiting for the club to make their first signing of the summer, but they continue to be linked with a host of potential new signings.
Mauricio Pochettino will certainly be in the market for new signings ahead of August’s transfer deadline, and reports suggest that two Barcelona talents could be targeted.
Today, The Sun reported that Tottenham are ready to battle Everton for centre back Yerry Mina, who has partnered Davinson Sanchez in the heart of the Colombia defence at this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Additionally, Catalan newspaper SPORT report that Tottenham are also keen on Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, after Inter Milan decided not to activate their purchase clause on him despite a strong loan spell.
Landing both players permanent would almost certainly set Spurs back more than £50million, but capitalising on Barcelona’s attempts to raise funds may not be the worst idea for Pochettino.
With questions over Toby Alderweireld’s future, a giant centre back like Mina could fit in well, especially given that he already has an understanding with Sanchez from international duty.

Meanwhile, midfielder Rafinha would be an ideal successor for Mousa Dembele, as he possesses the skill, quality on the ball and drive through midfield that has made Dembele so vital to Pochettino, whilst also being predominantly left-footed, giving Pochettino balance just like Dembele did.
Tottenham are attempting to add quality this summer, and Mina and Rafinha both have their best years ahead of them, with moves to North London potentially perfect for Pochettino if both Alderweireld and Dembele move on this summer, making the Spurs squad younger in the process.
