It has been reported that Vydra has not flown out with the rest of the Derby squad to the Canary Islands for a pre-season training camp.

The 26-year-old forward will work at the Rams’ training ground until a decision over his future has been made, according to the report.

Leeds United move likely?
The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 17;16pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018) has claimed that Vydra is a key target for Derby’s Championship rivals Leeds in the summer transfer window.
Derby’s reported decision to leave Vydra behind suggests that they are open to selling the forward at the right price, and that new manager Frank Lampard is ready to plan for the upcoming season without him, having reportedly made the call to leave the former Watford man behind last week.

Leeds also do seem to have a couple of advantages in their reported pursuit of the 26-year-old Czech Republic international.
According to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 17:16pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018), Leeds are the only club to have expressed a concrete interest in the forward who is valued at £12m by Derby.
The Rams are reportedly under pressure to sell the forward due to fears over financial fair play.
The signs are certainly there that suggest that Vydra could join Leeds soon.
