Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have been linked with a £4.3m move for Lech Poznan’s Polish starlet Gumny.

Lech Poznan defender Robert Gumny has pointed out that he must maintain his fine form if the reported Celtic target is to earn a big-money move this summer, in quotes reported by Sportowe Fakty.
Gumny is the latest highly-rated right-back to be linked with the Scottish Premiership champions in recent months, Gazeta reporting that The Hoops were considering a £4.3 million bid to bring the 20-year-old to Britain.
A skilful and attack minded full-back, the Polish flyer is expected to fly the nest and leave his homeland this summer after forcing his way into the Lech Poznan starting XI. But, speaking to Sportowe Fakty, Gumny has shown no signs of letting the speculation go to his head.
“For now, I do not think about a transfer. I am focusing on the matches that still have to be played,” Gumny said.
“I have to get the best out of it. If my form is weak, nobody will buy me.”

Clearly, Gumny is hoping to put himself in the shop window and he will be fully aware of interest from Celtic.
A space at right-back is expected to open up very soon with both Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa out of contract. Jeremy Toljan, meanwhile, will return to Borussia Dortmund when his loan spell comes to an end.
