Everton reportedly want to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas in the summer transfer window.

Klaassen struggled to make an impact at Everton last season following his move from Ajax in the summer of 2017.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder will struggle for playing time at the Toffees next season, and given his disappointing displays last season, it does not come as a surprise that new Everton manager Marco Silva reportedly wants to include him in a deal for Vida.

The Merseyside outfit do need a good and capable defender, as Ashley Williams appears to be past his prime.
Vida is 29 years of age, but the Croatia international is still going strong, and he would be a good signing for Everton in the summer transfer window.

The former Dynamo Kyiv star is a hugely experienced footballer, and his arrival would make Everton much better at the back.
Silva’s reported willing to include Klaassen in a deal for Vida shows that he has got his priorities right.
Everton do have enough creative players in their squad, and offloading Klaassen for a strong and experienced defender such as Vida would make the Toffees a stronger team.
