Reported boost for Newcastle United regarding Kieran Gibbs and Jake Livermore chase

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in West Bromwich Albion trio Salomon Rondon, Kieran Gibbs and Jake Livermore.

According to The Express & Star, West Bromwich Albion could sell Jay Rodriguez, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi, Matt Phillips, Kieran Gibbs and Jake Livermore in the summer transfer window, and that will be of encouragement to Newcastle United.

The report in The Express & Star has also claimed that striker Salomon Rondon will leave, with the Venezuela international having spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Newcastle in the Premier League

TEAMtalk has reported that Newcastle want Livermore, Gibbs and Rondon, and the Magpies are willing to let West Brom keep Dwight Gayle and Jacob Murphy.

While 29-year-old striker Gayle spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at West Brom, 24-year-old winger Murphy was on loan at the Baggies during the second half of the season.

If Livermore and Gibbs could be sold by West Brom, as reported by The Express & Star, then it is encouraging for Newcastle given their reported interest in 29-year-old midfielder Livermore and 29-year-old left-back Gibbs.
