Aston Villa are reportedly keen to add Egyptian winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet to their attacking ranks ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Aston Villa target Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has returned to pre-season training with Kasimpasa after he was on international duty with Egypt.
KingFut have reported that the 24-year-old winger, who has been touted for a move to newly-promoted Villa, has returned to the Turkish club as he prepares for the new season.
Where the highly-rated winger will be when the summer transfer shuts remains to be seen, but at this moment in time, he has shown his professionalism and returned to training with the Turkish outfit.
Trezeguet has seemingly done the opposite to another Villa target Marvelous Nakamba, who has reportedly gone on strike after his side Club Brugge rejected Villa’s £10 million bid for him, according to Le Soir.
It is said that the powerful midfielder has been left angry by the Belgium club’s decision to reject that bid as he is currently absent from pre-season training.
Just like Trezeguet, Nakamba was also participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, but with Zimbabwe, as the future of the duo remains unclear.
There’s no doubt that Dean Smith’s requires more attacking depth out wide and more legs in the middle of the park as Villa have already been busy during the summer transfer window.
The Midlands outfit, who were promoted to the Premier League at the end of May, have been the busiest team in the transfer market from teams in England’s top-flight.
With less than a month left of the transfer window, it seems as though Villa will continue to add quality to their squad as they aim to prepare in the best possible manner for the new campaign.
