Aston Villa are seemingly looking to add more attacking power to their forward line before Thursday’s deadline.

Aston Villa have signed 12 players this summer, but they have been very clever in the manner in which they have recruited the players they have added to their squad ahead of their Premier League return.
Out of the 12 players signed, some were either on-loan at the club last season, some have worked with Dean Smith before, or others have been teammates with a player currently in the squad, either at club level or international level.
Well, if recent reports are true then Villa might just be adding another player in Mybaye Diagne, who will be familiar to a recent Smith signing – Trezeguet.
Turkish outlet Aksam have claimed that Villa are preparing an £11 million bid for Galatatasry striker Mbaye Diagne, who previously played at Egyptian side Kasimpasa – the club Villa signed Trezeguet from.
Well, when Diagne was at Kasimpasa, he produced some spectacular results with the help of Trezeguet because he netted a stunning 29 goals in 30 matches [transfermarkt].

He even scored in his first six matches when he netted eight goals as he ended the season with 29 to his name before his move to Turkey, where he has netted 11 in 17 matches.
It is fair to say that wherever the 27-year-old has been going in recent times, he has seriously impressed and if he were to join Villa then it might just be a smart piece of business by the club.
It is looking more and more likely that Villa will be dipping into the market for a new striker because Scott Hogan recently made a season-long loan switch to Stoke City [AVFC’s official website].
