Aston Villa reportedly want Ethan Ampadu of Chelsea.

It has been reported that Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – will make a move for the 18-year-old should the Wales international become available.
The teenager is one of the best young players around and can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder.
Villa will be getting a very talented footballer if they are able to secure the services of Ampadu on a loan deal this summer, and the Villa Park faithful will be very encouraged by a previous report that legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson rates him highly.
According to a report in The Manchester Evening News back in September 2018, Ferguson – then in charge of United – wanted to sign Ampadu when he was just 12 years of age and was at Exeter City.

The Scotsman reportedly dubbed Ampadu a ‘proper United player’ after watching him in action for the Exeter Under-13 side against their United counterparts in a junior tournament in 2013.
The report also claimed that Ferguson wanted United’s then-chief executive David Gill to conclude a sign Ampadu, but nothing materialised and the younsgter moved to Chelsea in 2017.
