According to Superdeporte, reported Arsenal target Rodrigo Moreno has returned to training looking stronger ahead of a potential summer move.

The Valencia forward has been linked with a move away from the club.

The Mirror claim Premier League side Arsenal are keen on his services. Moreover, Spanish editorial AS say the forward has been transfer listed.

Valencia are reportedly seeking a £55 million fee for the former Bolton Wanderers man.

Moreno, meanwhile, has used the current suspension from football to whip himself into shape with La Liga planning to return to action in June.

Superdeporte report Moreno has returned to training boasting significant muscle gains in his legs and arms. His goal is to make an immediate impact before the summer.

The 29-year-old posted ten goals and 12 assists in all competitions prior to the Covid-19 suspension.

Arsenal are keen admirers, and Mkel Arteta’s side have a job on their hands this summer.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract situation means he enters the final 12 months of his deal this summer. The Gunners may have to cash in.

Replacing the Gabon international will be a difficult task.

Spain international Moreno poses an interesting solution. His own contract expires in 2022, but Valencia have seemingly made it clear they are willing to sell.

Arsenal may feel their best strategy is to invest in youth. However, Aubameyang’s influence is so strong the North London club could see a player entering his peak such as Moreno as an ideal like-for-like replacement.
