
Reported Arsenal target Justin Kluivert has raved about Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Voetballzone.
Mkhitaryan, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is on loan at AS Roma from Arsenal at the moment.
Kluivert has been on the books of Roma since 2018, and is considered as one of the best young wingers in Europe.
According to a report in Calciomercato this month, Arsenal are interested in signing the Netherlands international winger this summer (click here to read more).
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that the Gunners plan to offer the youngster a four-year contract and double his wages.
Kluivert seems to be a big fan of Mkhitaryan, and he has suggested that he wants to stay at Roma and hopes that the former Manchester United player does so as well.
Kluivert told Voetballzone, as translated by Metro: “I’m just happy with his [Mkhitaryan’s] help and hope he and Chris Smalling will stay here after this season. They are top players for us.
“He [Mkhitaryan] transfers his experience to the team and certainly to me. I look up to a player who has already experienced as much as he has.
“He has had a great career and seen many big clubs. I can certainly learn from that.
“We talk a lot anyway because we play in roughly the same positions and he occasionally gives me tips or emphasizes what I do well. I listen to that because he has experienced it all.”
