Martin Ødegaard’s arrival at Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid has caused quite the stir across the football world today.
The 25-cap Norway international will spend the second half of the campaign with the Gunners, as Mikel Arteta looks to inject some creativity into his set-up.
The 22-year-old seems to be a very popular man, as many professionals from across Europe sent Instagram messages to him after his move was confirmed.
Borussia Dortmund marksman Erling Braut Håland wished him well, while two other interesting names sent their congratulations.

Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon – who also came to England from Real Madrid in a £27 million deal – said: Welcome to London bro 👏🏻🤗
Elsewhere, Ødegaard’s fellow Norwegian Sander Berge sent a two-word message to his countryman, saying: My guy😍
Interestingly, Berge himself has been linked with a move to the Emirates, with Norwegian news outlet VG revealing that Arsenal are keen on signing him.

Whether the Sheffield United marksman is looking on with envy as his international teammate secures a big move is a mystery.
However, if Arsenal were to firm up their interest with a bid, then at least Berge would have a friend at the club to help him settle in immediately.
For now, though, let’s just enjoy Ødegaard’s presence in north London.
