Nottingham Forest are allegedly interested in signing the West Ham United youngster.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest are set to battle it out with Eintracht Frankfurt for West Ham ace Reece Oxford, and should they manage to get a deal over the line for the starlet, he could be their best signing this century.
The Daily Mail suggest that the Hammers will be willing to sell the 20-year-old for just £8 million, and if he goes on to fulfil his potential, that fee will surely turn out to be an absolute snip for the Reds.
Forest currently sit in ninth place in the Championship table, just four points adrift of the play-off spots, and they have every chance of earning promotion back to the Premier League.
In order to do that, however, the east Midlands outfit will need to invest before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday, and Oxford would be just the ticket.
The West Ham ace can play in both the centre-back and deep-lying midfield positions, and he possesses real quality.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Oxford is a powerful specimen, but he is also technically gifted, and he would add a certain level of composure to the Forest side.

The Reds score plenty of goals, but their defence can be shaky at times, and if they are to force their way back inside the top six, they will certainly need to tighten up at the back.
Taking that into account, Oxford would be an a magnificent signing for Forest, and should Martin O’Neill manage to bring him to the City Ground, it really could turn out to be their best piece of business in recent history.
