Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez managed to complete seven deals this summer.

Newcastle United were reportedly ready to spend £13million on Club Brugge winger Anthony Limbombe back in June, but fans will now be ruing the club’s decision not to wait.
Belgian newspaper HLN claim that 24-year-old Limbombe was interesting Newcastle after having a hand in 15 goals during his 39 league and cup appearances last season from out wide. He scored six and created nine.
The report claimed that Newcastle would have to spend £13million to land the one-time Belgium international’s signature and it seemed they were keen on doing just that.
But a move failed to materialise and fans will have rued the decision not to wait until later on in the window and sign him closer to the August 9 deadline, with exciting speed machine Limbombe now reportedly set to leave.
RMC Sport have claimed on their live transfer blog (Monday, 09:14am) that French Ligue 1 side Nantes are set to complete the signing of Limbombe for just £7million – half of what Newcastle were originally asked to pay.

Newcastle failed to bring a wide man to the club other than Kenedy on another loan, leaving them with just Matt Ritchie, Chris Atsu and Jacob Murphy to choose from.
At £7million, Limbombe is an absolute bargain and Newcastle should have remained patient with their interest in the winger before making a move to sign him this month.
